Aseem Sharma is Chief Operating Officer at SunBorne. He brings over 20 years of global operational and strategy/M&A experience to SunBorne. Prior to SunBorne he was the COO of Trikona Capital, a GBP 250 million LSE listed Fund. Trikona invests in the Indian Infrastructure and Real Estate and he was responsible for closing $250 million worth of transactions. Earlier, Aseem was President and Country Head of Corning South Asia. Aseem built a world-class team at Corning and under his leadership the business grew 500% over a 4-year period, making India one of the fastest growing regions within the company.
Earlier, Aseem built Corning’s semiconductor businesses and led complex technology programs with R&D activities across continents. Aseem graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering from IIT Delhi and has an MBA from Lehigh University in Pennsylvania.
